ITS ALMOST FALL YALL! 🍂🍁

Here in Tokyo, fall foliage starts popping the most mid-end of November ! You want yellow ginkgo, red maples or the popular red bushes, I’ve got a place for all of them !

When you wake up before sunrise in a foreign country…and somehow it becomes one of the best memories of your trip. 🌞

These two traveled all the way to Tokyo, but what they brought with them was something even more beautiful than the city itself, a love that’s stood the test of time.

They describe their relationship as strong, healthy, loving, and fun, and after spending the morning with them, I’d say that’s exactly what it is. Watching them laugh together, steal quiet glances, and simply enjoy being in each other’s company made photographing them feel effortless.

The early alarm was absolutely worth it. The streets were quiet, the city was just beginning to wake up, and for a little while it felt like Tokyo belonged only to us. Those peaceful sunrise moments are some of my favorite because they leave room for the real moments : the laughter, the conversations, and the little looks that say everything without a single word.

These two met in a class where a lunch here and there turned into long conversations. Somewhere along the way, they realized they’d found more than a friend 😍 they’d found their favorite person.

When I asked what their favorite memory together was, their answer wasn’t a single trip or milestone.

It was simply being together 😭😭😭

Of course, they love traveling the world side by side, but every adventure is better because they’re sharing it with their best friend.

So it felt incredibly fitting that their next chapter began here in Japan, surrounded not only by beautiful gardens, but with Brandon’s parents, who were there to witness one of the biggest moments of their lives.

Some moments are grand because of where they happen. Others are unforgettable because of who’s there to share them.

Normalize ending your wedding portraits at 7-11🍦😂

Seriously.

We went for whimsy🌱 We chased waterfalls, wandered through town & stole quiet little moments together.

Then celebrated with soft serve from the konbini.

Because that’s what memories actually look like. Sometimes the most meaningful moments are the simplest ones !

After meeting while stationed in Germany with the Air Force, these two built a relationship rooted in kindness, passion, laughter, and being unapologetically honest with each other.

It was the perfect way to celebrate becoming husband and wife.

There are people who make hard things look effortless, but behind every achievement is a story most people never see.

Balancing full time active duty military service while earning a doctorate is no small feat. It’s years of discipline, resilience, and refusing to give up.

Tonya, I hope you always look back on this season with pride. I know I speak for so many when I say how deeply admired you are. Congratulations on an incredible milestone. ❤️
