This bathroom is a special one because it was designed by to be more accessible. I loved photographing it and I hope to see more inclusive design like this.

There are many ways to create a space that is inclusive so here are a couple of them:

1. Curbless shower: This makes it easier and safer to get in and out of the shower.

2. Wider door: This is key for someone who has a mobility aid (like a walker or wheelchair).

3. Lower countertops: While this wasn’t needed in this home, lowering countertops are useful for people who use a wheelchair or have mobility with reaching the faucet.

Need to keep the kids and pets out of the pantry? designed this kitchen with Dutch doors to do that while one person is prepping inside.

It allows you to pass dishes or kitchen tools in and out without worrying by about children or pets wandering in.

It was even helpful during our photoshoot with 2 cats and a dog who took the opportunity to stroll into the pantry because that’s where their food was stored 🤭

How I see a space as an interior photographer:
Photo 1 - Capture the corner. Corners can be interesting because of how the walls guide your eye.

Photo 2 - From afar with elements in between you and the subject

Photo 3 and 4 - Full view of the room. This isn’t always necessary and capturing too much of the space can take the focus away from the main part of the room

Photo 5 - Details. Highlight some details to support the story of the room

Photo 6 - Capture the other side of the room to show how the two spaces connect

Interiors and exteriors of Taiwan ☺️ Besides great food and beautiful nature, there are so many interesting buildings from traditional to modern. Here are a few of the modern

1. : A cool minimalist dome-shaped coffee shop. Reservations required
2. X-Plus: A multi-purpose building with shops, gallery, indoor play place
3-7. Starbucks Reserve Dream Plaza: Open 24/7, this is the largest Starbucks in Taiwan. It’s a combination of a coffee/tea shop and bar.
8. .to.come_taiwan: A restaurant from Japan that grills juicy 90g hamburger steaks in the shape of a sausage on a charcoal grill and serves each one to you as you’re eating.
9. A Taipei metro station
10. Taoyuan Public Library
11. Taipei Performing Arts Centre

I saw ’s video on bloom strolling and that’s now my new favourite thing. There are many official gardens in Toronto and beyond to see flowers and plants, but even walking around the neighbourhood, it’s nice to see people’s beautiful gardens.
