Tokyo based photographer yuma1983 is a photographer and Instagrammer based in Tokyo. He plays an important role in a network
of Instagrammers across the globe.

He has been avtive as a freelance photographer since Instagram
started attracting him. Through photo-sharing SNS,
he has been representing Tokyo and connecting the Instagrammers
based overseas to artists and creators around Tokyo. Instagramとの出会いで写真の世界に魅了されたことが
きっかけとなり、現在、フリーランスフォトグラファーとして活動中。
Instagram等の写真系SNSを通じて国内外に広いネット
ワークを持っており特に来日する海外のフォトグラファーとの
交流では、東京におけるハブ的な役割を担う。

The Nagaoka Fireworks Festival was unlike anything I have ever experienced.

For the first time in my life, fireworks brought me to tears.

These are not just fireworks. They are a symbol of remembrance, hope, and resilience. The famous Phoenix fireworks are launched as a prayer for recovery, honoring the lives lost in war and disasters while wishing for a peaceful future.

Standing there among thousands of people, I realized that the beauty of these fireworks comes not only from the colors filling the night sky, but from the stories, emotions, and memories they carry.

I chose not to add dramatic editing or effects to this video. I wanted to share the moment exactly as I experienced it, allowing the fireworks to speak for themselves.

I hope this video lets you feel even a small part of what I felt that night.

May Japan continue to cherish this tradition, and may we never forget the importance of peace.

感動を伝えたくて、あえて編集はしていません。

長岡花火を見て、涙が止まらなくなったのは初めてでした。

戦争で失われた命への慰霊、そして復興への願いが込められた長岡の花火。

ただ美しいだけではなく、平和であることの尊さを感じる時間でした。

熊本をはじめ、今も復興を続けている場所があります。

この美しい景色を、花火を、笑顔で見上げられる日常が、これからも続いていきますように。

幸せで平和な世界を願って。

ずっと見てみたかった、那智の扇祭り。

日本三大火祭りの一つとして知られ、1400年以上の歴史を持つ神事。

12本の大松明が那智の滝の前を清め、神を迎える光景は、想像を超える迫力でした。

午前3時に山へ入り、祭りが始まるまで約11時間。
待ち続けた時間も、この瞬間のためだったと思えました。

そして祭りが終わると、神域は静けさを取り戻していく。

炎だけではない、この場所の美しさを感じた一日でした。

Finally experienced the Nachi Fire Festival.

One of Japan’s Three Great Fire Festivals, this sacred ritual has been held for over 1,400 years.

Watching the 12 giant torches purify the path before Nachi Falls and welcome the deity was even more breathtaking than I had imagined.

I entered the mountain at 3:00 a.m. and waited 11 hours for the festival to begin.

As the festival came to an end, the sacred grounds slowly returned to silence.

It reminded me that the beauty of this place isn’t found only in the flames.

Founded in 1202, Kennin-ji is Kyoto’s oldest Zen temple.

The breathtaking Twin Dragons painting on the Dharma Hall ceiling was created by Japanese artist Junsaku Koizumi to commemorate the temple’s 800th anniversary, taking nearly two years to complete.

Spanning 108 tatami mats and painted entirely in ink, the dragons feel as if they could come alive at any moment.
建仁寺は、1202年に栄西禅師によって創建された京都最古の禅寺。

法堂の天井を覆う「双龍図」は、創建800年を記念して日本画家・小泉淳作が約2年をかけて描いた大作です。

108畳に広がる墨だけの世界。
静寂の中で見上げる二匹の龍は、今にも動き出しそうな迫力でした。
