A family from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 , a family from the U.S.🇺🇸, and a joyful reunion in Japan 🇯🇵.

I explored the streets of Asakusa with these 2 friends. In my 10 years in Japan it has been getting more and more common to see these family reunion trips here in Japan and them wanting photos to commemorate their time together 🥰 Thank you again, C and L for choosing me to capture your friendship, your families, and your beautiful reunion in Japan 🥳!

🌿 💍 She said yes in the forests of Meiji 🌿

L told me that he wanted to propose to M somewhere private and away from the crowds. He also told me that she loves nature and green. Since M had planned their trip to the detail, he sent me their itinerary and asked me when and where he could propose without changing her plan and making it obvious so she would still be surprised 😊

And that is how we came up with the plan to do the proposal here, along their walk to Meiji Shrine! This is why I do consultations before a proposal- I understand that each client and relationship and situation is unique so I try my 300% best to make a plan that will work for you and your significant other so they will be surprised !

And yes, M was caught off guard and surprised , and very very happy with the location! ❤️🫶🏼😊🌿 succcess!!!

🌿 💍 Engaged in luscious greenery of this beautiful Japanese garden 🌿🌿🌿… I think I’ll have to do a separate post of the proposal moment because honestly everywhere I looked it was so gorgeous 😍!!! I had a hard time choosing my favorites from this proposal + engagement photoshoot 🌿 These 2 have known each other since kindergarten and they had been waiting so long for this moment 🥹… and yes there were speeches and tears of joy 🥹 but I guess I’ll have to save that post for another day . ❤️ 💍 She said “Oui!” in Tokyo ❤️

Congratulations to my wonderful clients from France/Spain who got engaged here in Japan!

We captured their love in an empty place and they were later congratulated by 2 sweet Japanese Obasans 🥹

We also got to see the beautiful 🌺 azaleas blooming as well as 🐢 turtles floating around the pond.

They had such a unique ring too- 2 stones side by side, representing the 2 of them joined together 🥹

❤️🎉Happy 13th Anniversary, A & A! 🎉❤️ What a beautiful and fun anniversary session we had with their 2 playful and adorable children ✨!

They said they have a tradition of using that chalkboard sign for their anniversary photos so we made sure to incorporate it in the photos.

Also such a small world - as I have captured their friends who visited in Japan, in the same locations and also in kimono 👘🥰. And the previous clients before this also knew them too! So many coincidences!
