I made a friend today! What an exciting day! We stopped into their burger restaurant (One's Place) which just happens to be 90's Los Angeles themed and with Tupac on the wall and the radio. The food was delicious so I had to share with the owners that we loved everything about their tiny place! I told Meg that I love Tupac and the vibe was perfect. This was a few weeks ago, but we went back today because I was missing home food and because we can't speak each other's languages very well translate app was the best and we were able to have a great conversation! I am so thankful for this interaction. When you come and see us in Kumamoto, we will have to go to this spot so I can introduce you to my new friend Meg!

This was an experience! To sit and just breathe while watching the falls was incredible. The water really is that clear! Its hard to believe. The hike was easy and so worth it. I think I might be obsessed with our weekend adventures! This also is helping me to become the landscape and wildlife photographer I have always wanted to be!

So Ralph saw the comments from my last post and said, Let's save that for next because he knows me and then he took me to the beach! It was so serene and the water was incredibly clear. The volcanic rock was gorgeous! This was a true find! Off the beaten path and not crowded.

Where should we adventure to today??? Amakusa Islands, Nabegataki Falls or Nagasaki? Not my photos, but i need votes to ...
