I had the pleasure of photographing Valerie and her husband, who came all the way from Los Angeles🇺🇸

We did the shoot at a traditional Japanese house deep in the mountains of Yame. It was my first time visiting this location, and I truly enjoyed every moment of the session.

Valerie told me, “We travel to many places, but instead of buying souvenirs, we choose to take photos as keepsakes—because photos last forever.” Her words really touched my heart.

I hope I was able to contribute to creating new and lasting memories for the two of them.

Ohori Photo Studio is an English-friendly photography studio near Ohori Park in Fukuoka, Japan.

We offer portrait, profile, couple, family, travel and personal branding photo sessions in a bright and simple studio space.

I am Nozomu Hideshima, the owner and photographer of Ohori Photo Studio.

My English is not perfect, but English inquiries are welcome.
Before becoming a photographer, I worked as an Airbnb Experience host and guided international visitors around local places in Fukuoka.
So I understand how important it is to feel comfortable when booking a photo session in another country.

At Ohori Photo Studio, I carefully guide your posture, expression, lighting and background to create photographs that feel natural, clean and beautifully polished.
