隈研吾氏による《焼き鳥てっちゃん》。
建築であり、インスタレーションであり、どこか絵画のようでもあるこの場所を、やわらかなペイントのようなイメージで仕上げました。

大阪・心斎橋のル・カフェ・ヴィー（LE CAFE V）。
整列する要素が、奥行きのある空間をより美しく。

クリスタルで作られた宮殿のような店内はMaison Baccarat Moscowモスクワのメゾンバカラ。ブティックの内装を手がけたのは、浅草のあの金色のオブジェでも有名なPhilippe Starck（フィリップスタルク）氏。
バカラの歴史と前衛的なデザインが共存する、象徴的なメゾンとして存在し続けています。
3枚目の写真はジミーによるスタルクのポートレート。当時の米誌メトロポリスの表紙として掲載されました。

今日の投稿は、新橋にかつて建っていた中銀カプセルタワービル。

わずか約10㎡のミニマムな空間には、1970年代当時の「これからの暮らし」が詰め込まれていました。

設計を手がけたのは、建築家黒川紀章。
メタボリズム建築を象徴するこの建物は、2022年に惜しまれつつ解体されましたが、カプセルは今も世界各地で展示され、“思想としての建築”は静かに生き続けています。

建築が役目を終えたあとも、そのスピリットはかたちを変えて生き続けていますね。

Today’s post looks back at the Nakagin Capsule Tower in Shimbashi.
Within its compact 10-square-meter capsule, cutting-edge technology and visionary thinking from the 1970s were meticulously integrated.
Designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa, the building was dismantled in 2022, yet its capsules continue to live on—now exhibited in museums and commercial spaces around the world as part of preservation projects.

関内全体が、ひとつの風景美術館のような空間をファインダーへ閉じ込めました。

Not just a view of Mount Fuji,
but a space shaped by it.
Nihondaira Hotel feels like a living landscape museum.
