Eurasian coot following the banks, in search for a spot to wallow and feed. Catching a glare aimed at me hidden away before taking to the water as the cloudy skies sunset waned and eventually fell away completely, it would use its night vision well enhanced compared to humans to see by for a time.

The eurasian coot, or common coot will fly at night relying solely on moonlight to migrate, its bird song more of a jurassic chirp when heard across the lakes🗣

As red as they get? No probabaly not, but this lady bug...and all her buddies, about 6 all up were wandering about the foliage and sprouting weeds in the fields, apparently very interested in the photo shoot. They stuck around, struck some poses and you guys get see the results!

I'm toying with the idea of doing similar posts to that of the Raven & Crow series, it was good fun, let's see how much you guys enjoy these

Shot on the canon R7, with a standard non micro old EF mount lens, but it does the job!

A pretty special place, Pu luong is. A rugged lifestyle lived by honest and hardworking people, we were there as the harvest began, walking about the entire town, scaling Pagodas, walking alongside the roads, dodging between chickens and other soon to be poultry..

Getting the chance to travel where less people go felt special, no fancy shops or restaurants, no conveniant shade or fuel stations, just enough to get by and man did it make it more memorable. Maps being useless with bridges in pieces or not existing where they were meant to be, or any places where bridges usually are being flooded by the monsoon rains a day prior. Epic journey, awesome memories.

Caught this Little eurasian oystercatcher on the shores of Dunbar, snooping about on the cliff sides and perceptively guaging its surroundings, flying from point to point to observe

Probably spotting the unlikely friends in the background...who knew, seals and seabirds🦭🐦
Though the seal looked far more surprised by their visitor

Silhouette mayhem, surrounding us on all sides as we docked between Japan and South Korea, taking the ferry across from Busan to Fukuoka - Japan, blue skies, still waters and a plethora of bird life around the coast

Gulls and other sea birds faught their way around each other and plummeted into the waters around the dock, catching easy food before flying off to reap their rewards. An awesome start to the day (which i started at 3am that morning) on the back of the ship to catch sunrise.

Kawagoe, and the outskirts of Tokyo, Japan - continually flawed me with thier seemingly effortless charm, tucked away shops between multileveled buildings in an old architectural style preserved by japense craftsmanship, that quickly open to the afternoon blazing sun and interlaced tress along walkways - cicadas chirping all the while as the sun flickers between golden leaves. High rise glass buildings, shining perfectly and deflecting the sun rays as if cut in half. There is so much to appreciate and take in, and thats their cities and towns alone, thier backyard nature deserves its own separate recognition.

The bloom of Japan, Kawagoe in novemeber. Tucked away amongst the dense streets, packed in between houses, shops and insanely good food stops, the sun bled a beautiful colour orange that flooded and bloomed, an awesome night in the out reaches of Tokyo 🇯🇵

Mid blink?? Found this Wood pigeon on the coast in Scotland whilst atop some land outcrops overlooking the bay, they were barely poking thier head above the lip to get a peak at us, and I decided to peak back. Had fun getting this and later editing this photo, pretty easy colours to compliment eachother, there will be more of these to come!
