Punch crying is heartbreaking to watch. What makes it even harder is knowing he doesn’t have a mother or family to run to for comfort when he’s upset. I just hope that with time, he feels safer, loved, and truly at home. Ganbare Punch, We love you so much ❤️🥹

Today, after seeing the restrictions at the Saruyama in person, I felt sad because it was very difficult to see Punch. He also wasn’t as active as before. In the past, I would often see him running and playing, but today he only played a little and seemed cautious and sometimes scared of his surroundings.

The rumors about one of his dads leaving seem to be untrue, as I saw both of them feeding the group today.

Even though Punch seemed a little reserved, I witnessed something that made me very proud of him. After feeding time, he joined the others in foraging and picking up food from the ground. It was wonderful to see him becoming part of the group, and Shumpei-san looked genuinely happy.

It took a long time before another birth in the enclosure since Punch. But now they are having babies one after another, and I’m pretty sure more are coming. 😬

Punch has going to have so many playmates soon and the good thing is, this time hell be the one teasing them instead. 😆😅
