Living and working in Tokyo for many years, I like to walk the streets, especially early in the morning, or late in the evening, when they are quieter that at other times. Taking photos has become a way to explore both my environment - and how, or what, I see. The camera is a great tool to support this process - it helps to slow down, to focus, and to see differently. It lets me appreciate the beauty of familiar places, and discover new - sometimes unexpected - things.
