I am currently working on a documentary film that tells the story of a Syrian photographer and journalist who lived through the Syrian revolution from its very first day in 2011, witnessing its details and major transformations. Through his lens, he captured moments that never reached the world's screens, recording human stories written amidst fear, displacement, loss, and hope.
This film doesn't just recount events; it delves into the lives of those behind the camera, those who risked their lives to document the truth and preserve the memory of an entire people. It's a work that documents years of Syrian history from a genuine human perspective, far removed from numbers and headlines, and close to the people who lived through the story in all its details.
As the producer of this project, I aim to transform this visual testimony into a professional documentary capable of reaching Arab and international audiences and participating in international festivals and platforms dedicated to documentaries and impactful human stories.
I am seeking production partners, supporters, and investors who believe in the power of the image and the importance of preserving memory. Contributing to this project is not just supporting a film, but participating in protecting a true story from being forgotten, and conveying the voice of someone who lived through the events to the world as they happened, not as they were told from afar.
