بِلَمْحَةِ الطَّرْفِ أَوْ إِيمَاضَةِ البَرْقِ// أَتَى الذِيْ لَمْ يَذَرْ شَيْئًا وَلَمْ يُبْقِ

إِنْ قَالَ: "كُنْ" كَانَ مَا يَجْرِيْ بِحِكْمَتِهِ // مَا َكانَ يُنْعِمُ فِيهِ النَّاسَ أَوْ يُشْقي

الذي يقع في قلب #العاصمة #الاردنية عمّان، وبني منذ نحو 1800 عام، واحد من أعظم الآثار الرومانية على مستوى منطقة بلاد الشّام، بل لعّله من #أجمل الطرز المعمارية مهابة وضخامة وأناقة، وأشهر أماكن #السياحة #التاريخية بأعمدته الشامخة، تشير بعض المراجع إلى عدة تسميات للمدرّج منها: «المسرح الروماني» و«درج فرعون» و«الملعب الروماني» و«ملعب سليمان»، والذي يقع على سفح جبل الجوفة، وقد بني تخليداً لزيارة الإمبراطور مادريانوس لعمان «فيلادلفيا القرن الثاني الميلادي»، تم بناء المدرج بين عامي 138 و161م،

أحد جبال مدينة عمّان السبعة والذي اتخذه العمونيون منذ القدم مقراً لحكمهم في المدينة، ومن بعدهم كل من اليونان والرومان والبيزنطيين الذين احتلوا المدينة على التوالي إلى أن هلّ عليها الفتح الإسلامي في القرن السابع الميلادي، حيث بني على قمته القصر الأموي.
