Sponsorship Opportunity: Black Iris Photography Exhibition

The is Jordan’s national flower, but it is under threat and becoming increasingly harder to spot in the wild. Nature photographer travelled across the country to pursue the surprising beauty of black in bloom, from the fertile hills in the north to the dry lands and rugged mountains in the south.

Help us create more awareness to protect this national treasure by sponsoring this photography exhibition highlights the Black Iris as a symbol of beauty, elegance, and hope, which will be held under the kind patronage of Prince Asem bin Nayef on the 17th of February 2024!

Under the patronage of H.R.H PRINCESS DANA FIRAS, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Cultural Heritage, and in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities وزارة السياحة والآثار الأردنية, Department of Antiquities of Jordan - دائرة الآثار العامة - , The Jordan Museum متحف الأردن , Italian Agency for Development Cooperation in Jordan - AICS AMMAN, Jordan Tourism Board Visit Jordan, The Baptism Site Commission, دارة التصوير Darat Al Tasweer and Jordan Photos . UNESCO Jordan will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention.
A six-day commemorative photo exhibition will be held from 21 to 26 November at the Jordan Museum showcasing Jordan’s six World Heritage Sites (Petra, Um ar-Rasas, Qasr Amra, Baptism Site, Wadi Rum, and As-Salt).
