To work in black and white, the use of light and contrast is crucial: the subject of the image must be highlighted in relation to the environment.
In today's film world it becomes an artistic choice that leads to subtractive work, where color is not as necessary as it is in "C'Mon C'Mon," for example. In that case the concept was that the world is so full of sounds, stimuli and noises that color is too much. Is there a more sensitive way to engage with a story?
