Request: Do a reportage of the 2025 Venice Boat Show — with your approach. In translation: have fun experiencing the boat show with your camera.
I don’t think I need to explain how enjoyable this was. Thank you for the trust, and .
What I find very challenging is having my hands free to do whatever — no solid guidelines, no nothing. After the initial “wandering in the dark” moment, I decided to simply be. No overthinking, just experiencing. Feeling what was in front of me and trying to do it justice.
Only after that was I truly captivated by the way Italians do things — the design, the aesthetic. For a few hours, it honestly felt like I became a yacht owner, haha.
And what came out of it just happened to become one of my favourite commissions to date.

If there’s a takeaway here, it’s this: Sometimes, strip away all the constraints. Don’t focus on the task — focus on experiencing it first. Take photos second.
