The mountains of the Ortler group reveal their full grandeur, with snow-covered peaks, rocky faces, and clouds enveloping the landscape, opening and closing like a constantly moving curtain. In this photograph, I have sought to capture not only the magnificence of these mountains, but also the interplay of light, shadows, and ever-changing atmospheres that make them so captivating.
I do not necessarily seek spectacular images, but rather authentic moments, when mist drifts between the peaks, clouds part to allow the light to filter through, and the mountains reveal, even if only for a few fleeting moments, their more intimate character.

These majestic mountains of the Ortles group in northern Italy are truly beautiful in every sense of the word. As a landscape photographer, I find endless inspiration in their rugged peaks, ever-changing light and atmospheric conditions. Both days I spent there were deeply rewarding, offering different opportunities to connect with this magnificent landscape and capture its beauty in my own way.

With this photograph, I wanted to highlight the contrast between the warm colours of the autumn meadows and the winding lines of the road, creating an interplay of shapes and colours that intertwine across the mountainside.

Two days away with our photographic group, Padkos, turned into an absolutely incredible little adventure away from home!
The first day offered wonderful landscape photography opportunities with my favourite atmospheric conditions, while the second brought splendid conditions for wildlife and bird photography.
This was only my second time photographing rock ptarmigans, as I’m much more at home in my well-practised landscape photography genre. These beautiful birds are now developing their winter camouflage, blending almost perfectly into the rocky terrain and making them incredibly difficult to spot.
A wonderful experience, stepping outside my usual photographic comfort zone and discovering new challenges alongside good photographic friends! 📷❤️

For me, October is the true beginning of autumn, even if the calendar says otherwise. 🍂
It’s an intense and wonderful time for photography, filled with colours, mist, atmosphere and that special light I love so much. Let the games begin!

Early autumn wraps Burano in a quiet mist, creating the kind of atmospheric, melancholic mood that I love so much.
This is very much my photographic style: seeking out stillness, mist, delicate light, and the poetry found in the simplest of landscapes.

Fog transforms the landscape, erasing everything superfluous and leaving only the essential.
In this silence, the trees become delicate presences, suspended between earth and sky. I chose black and white to enhance the atmosphere, the forms, and that melancholic simplicity I love to seek in landscape photography.

This is the kind of atmosphere I love to seek out and capture through my photography: mist, soft light, silence, and landscapes suspended between reality and dreams.
I am not looking for spectacle, but for the emotion of a place when nature slowly reveals itself through veils of mist and delicate layers of light.

Mist and farmhouses, two elements that have become my photographic signature.
I love the way the fog gently embraces the landscape, revealing only fragments of a farmhouse and the forest beyond. A quiet, timeless moment where simplicity speaks louder than words.

Night photography in Venice reveals a unique and deeply romantic atmosphere. As daylight fades into darkness, the canals become dark mirrors, reflecting the façades, soft lights and moored gondolas.
It is a quieter, more mysterious Venice, far removed from the bustle of the day, where every bridge, every narrow alley and every reflection seems to tell a story. Photographing the city at night means allowing yourself to be enveloped by that suspended magic that makes Venice even more captivating.
