Adding insult to injury: when an airline cancels your flight just hours before takeoff and makes up every excuse to avoid refunding your tickets and prepaid add-ons.
"You accepted the rebooking" — False. There is zero record or proof of consent.
"Only one passenger requested a refund" — Incorrect. The refund request was submitted for the entire booking.
"Not everything is 100% refundable" — False. Since the airline canceled the flight, a full refund is mandatory under passenger rights laws.
The only redeeming part of this whole mess? The call center agents—helpful, patient, and polite throughout.
