Slovakia has a special kind of wildness😍 I still remember my first time here, and how much this place changed my perception of wildlife. Seeing bears in this environment, moving freely through forests, valleys and open fields, is something that stays with you 🐻😎In these days I’m going through some images from Slovakia, mixing a few shots from last year with some new ones from this recent trip ✌️A huge thanks to , who first brought me into this world a few years ago 🤙

In wildlife photography, the best encounters rarely happen in perfect light. This wolf appeared in very low-light conditions, the kind of moment where you don’t have time to think too much. The original shot was extremely noisy, but not necessarily unusable. With a careful editing workflow, even a difficult file can still be recovered and turned into a meaningful image. Seeing a wolf in the wild is never easy and sometimes, that is exactly what makes the image special 🐺🐺❤️

A rare moment right in front of me: seeing a bearded vulture on the ground is already something very unusual🤯 watching it feed on a carcass is even rarer.
This Alpine ibex had fallen victim to an avalanche the day before, and I was lucky enough to witness one of those raw, powerful moments that nature reveals only once in a while.
Moments like this remind me how wild, harsh and fascinating the mountains can be 🏔️
