Got another acceptance into another juried exhibition today. It has been a good day!!! This one was with Viewpoint Photographic Art Center in Sacramento for their Eleven Show. It is titled "Being There". They accepted my image called "Safari Evening". They selected 70 out of 550 images so I feel honored to be in this exhibition. Exhibit dates: November 11-December 19.

Just learned that "Stare" was selected for Tucson's Decode Gallery’s ‘Square’ photography exhibition in November. Feel pretty good being just one of 12 images selected for the exhibit!

Today is World Elephant Day. This is a short video I made from my first safari 13 years ago. This elephant was in Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.

Just wrote a new Blog post that I like about how I choose my images. It is called, "What I See vs What I Keep". Had fun writing it.

It is not unusual for me to return to my tent after a safari game drive with hundreds of images taken during just that one drive. Multiply that by two game drives each day and at least a couple of weeks of safari, sometimes four weeks, and you get an idea of the editing I have when I return home!
