A wedding I photographed was featured in “La Stampa”

From Ireland to the rice fields of Piemonte 🇮🇪🇮🇹

Born and raised in Vercelli, I never imagined that years later I would return to my home region to photograph an Irish couple’s wedding among the rice fields of Piemonte — and then see their story featured in La Stampa, the historic newspaper of Turin.

Hannah and Ryan travelled from Ireland to celebrate their wedding in the little church of Sillavengo, surrounded by their families and friends.

Photographing destination weddings all over Italy is always special, but telling a love story in the landscape where I grew up felt particularly personal.

A Roman Blessing 🙌🏻

Some mornings in Rome feel a little bit unreal.

Ruairi and Sinéad had just attended the Papal Audience in St Peter’s Square, and afterwards we spent a few hours around the city with Andrea’s vintage car, walking, laughing, stopping whenever the light or the background felt right.

No rush, no stiff posing, just two lovely people enjoying a very special day in Rome.
