My work doesn’t begin on the wedding day.
It begins when someone discovers one of my photographs and sees their own story in the way I tell it.
That’s exactly what happened with Elena.
She is Russian, Ethan is Canadian. Elena has a special connection with Italy and, one day, she came across my photographs. She connected with the way I tell stories and reached out to me.
From that very first message, there was an immediate connection. A natural feeling that stayed with us all the way to their wedding day.
Then I met Ethan.
Kind, thoughtful, and genuinely warm. The kind of person whose goodness speaks for itself.
And Elena is exactly as she seems: empathetic, sensitive, and incredibly kind.
Photographing their wedding was a true privilege. Not only because of the beauty of Rome, but above all because of the wonderful people they are.
Among thousands of photographs, Elena chose mine.
And that’s the most meaningful part of my work: knowing that someone, even before meeting me, felt I was the right person to tell one of the most important stories of their lives.
