Omnia Vincit Amor

Love truly conquers all.

At Castello di Porciano, in the heart of Tuscany, I had the privilege of witnessing the beginning of a beautiful new chapter for two extraordinary people who travelled all the way from America and Australia to celebrate their love here.

They are the kind of couple you meet and somehow leave a little changed. Two wonderful souls who reminded me — and perhaps confirmed once again — that love can overcome distance, time, obstacles, and everything life places in its way.

Their wedding was not simply a celebration of a marriage, but a celebration of everything that brought them here: the journey, the courage, the laughter, the tenderness, and the choice to keep choosing each other.

And standing there, surrounded by the timeless beauty of Castello di Porciano, I found myself thinking that some ancient words still hold an extraordinary truth:

Omnia vincit amor
Love conquers all.

And sometimes, you are lucky enough to witness it.

A quiet ceremony, a few emotional glances, hands, tears and laughter and embraces that said more than words could.
A beautiful dinner, prepared by a beautiful couple of chefs inspired by the flavours of Tuscany, brought everyone together beneath the evening sky. W**e was poured, stories were shared and slowly the hours disappeared into the night.

I’m back!
Dopo tanto tempo rimetto la mia faccia su questo profilo, dal quale durante la mia malattia mi sono sentita lontana. Sbagliando mi sono vergognata di quello che ho avuto di come mi avesse trasformato il cancro. Ho sempre continuato a lavorare in questi mesi, ma ho trovato molto difficile espormi ed esporre qui il mio lavoro. Sentivo la distanza tra me e cosa facevo. Fino a ieri ho tenuto qui la mia foto con la parrucca. Ancora volevo essere la fotografa di prima quella con i capelli lunghi. Oggi i capelli ricrescono in modi imprevisti, cambiati in forma e sostanza. Quelle forma è sostanza che sono cambiate in tutto il mio vivere.
Adesso riprendo a vedermi e ancora non ci riesco da sola per questo ho chiesto alla mia meravigliosa amica e collega .pezzoli di essere i miei occhi per mostrarmi di nuovo qui in questo luogo. Vi devo raccontare molto e farvi vedere molte cose. Per questo mi serviva la mia vera faccia. E la mia nuova assistente pelosa Nilde. Restate connessi per conoscere tutte le novità
