The second closing concert in the Small Venue of Haus der Musik brought the audience face to face with three true monuments of Argentine Tango: Horacio Romo, Pablo Agri and Emiliano Messiez.
These are musicians whose artistic journeys are deeply intertwined with the history of Tango itself. Between them, they have shared stages, recordings, and projects with many of the greatest names of recent decades, helping to shape and carry forward a musical tradition that continues to inspire generations around the world.
The trio combined virtuosity, elegance, and profound musical understanding, moving effortlessly between beloved tango classics and original compositions from their recent album Con Todo. Each phrase, each silence, and each dialogue among the bandoneon, violin, and piano reflected the depth of a musical bond shaped through decades of collaboration.
The intimacy of the Small Venue created the perfect setting to appreciate every nuance of their performance. The audience listened in complete attention, fully aware of witnessing something rare: three masters of their art sharing music with generosity, passion, and absolute authenticity.
As the final notes faded away, the response was immediate and overwhelming. The entire hall rose to its feet in a long and heartfelt standing ovation — a tribute not only to an exceptional concert, but to three artists whose contribution to Argentine Tango has become part of its living history.
A fitting conclusion to an unforgettable series of concerts in the Small Venue of Haus der Musik at La Locura Tango Music Festival.
