Documenting the glow ✨

A few days ago I had someone tell me one of their biggest regrets was not having their photos taken during their pregnancy.

I’m so happy we were able to squeeze in a maternity session for my best friend - who is an absolute goddess - as she nears the end of this journey and is glowing more than ever before 🤍

On Wednesday we celebrated G + L’s wedding at a small town city hall and it was the most perfect day 🥂
This is the side of Italy you rarely see in wedding photos. Getting legally married on a week day while the town market is in full swing, relaxing with loved ones at home after the ceremony before heading to the seaside to take sunset photos.

The dreamiest wedding ✨
E + M’s day was exactly as I had envisioned it when I got to know them better during our engagement session. The perfect blend of creativity and a deep love for nature. The tenderness in their eyes when they look at each other gives me goosebumps every single time and it was such a joy documenting their love on such an important day 🤍

This photo deserves its own post because I am completely obsessed with it 🥹

This was my first time ever creating a double exposure. As a documentary wedding photographer I spend most of my time capturing moments as they unfold rather than creating images based on pre-planned ideas, but I had had this vision for a while and this engagement photoshoot turned out to be the perfect occasion to have fun with it.
I am so detail-oriented, it took me about 3 hours to make this look exactly the way I wanted, but it was so worth it!

To say the past four months were challenging would be an understatement, but boy were they rewarding ✨
For those of you who don’t know, during this wedding season I’ve also been juggling school and another job. I had to sacrifice a lot in order to keep shooting and it was worth it every time.
Now I’m going to be focusing on editing and I can’t wait to finish delivering the galleries from this wedding season.
In the meantime, I’m opening my books for 2023 🗓
The number of weddings and shoots I will take next year will be limited so, if you want to chat, get in touch soon!

Sending out the last sneak peeks of the year was bittersweet, but what a way to close the wedding season ✨
I think you can tell a lot about a person by the people they surround themselves with, and what an amazing group of people was there to celebrate S + E. The energy and love you could feel in the room was indescribable and I’m so honored to have been there to document it 📸

I just delivered the gallery from last week’s sweet engagement session and I’m still smiling like crazy looking at these. Not sure why it took me so long to shoot at Stanley Park but I’m so happy it happened with these two lovely souls.
