Unless you book out a private beach, it's the only way to make sure you have a relaxed, intimate ceremony (without a crowd of loud Italian well-wishers and kids splashing in the shallows all around you!) 🏖

Just because you're planning an elopement, doesn't mean you have to skip out on all the beautiful details ✨

If you love florals or stationary or food as beautiful as it is delicious, then don't be afraid to include that in your plans (and if you don't care about any of it? Then don't bother!).

For Ashley & Gian's Dolomites elopement, we imagined something natural and organic, with a little bit of winter magic - something that would make the already breathtaking beauty of the Dolomiti a touch more special.

Just the two of you, the quiet lapping of the Mediterranean Sea, and the sun as it peaks over the luxurious heights of Positano ✨

Last weekend, I travelled from Lake Como to the Amalfi Coast to photograph two beautiful couples who decided to skip the big wedding fanfare in favour of sharing their vows under the Italian sun.

I cannot wait to share more 😍

We'd already spent a few hours lazily strolling across Milan when suddenly, Connie & Jonathan were overcome with excitement. ⁠⁠

I looked over and saw this sweet little corgi trotting through the park. ⁠⁠
⁠⁠
They turned to me and said, 'we were really hoping we'd see a corgi and could include it in our photos!!!! Do you think... would you ask?' ⁠⁠

And thankfully, this guy's owner was totally down 🎉⁠⁠

Would you want a photo with a corgi if you had a chance?⁠⁠ 🐶

I know a lot of you get nervous about the idea of having your photo taken, or you have trouble convincing your partner it won't be the most awkward thing ever. I get nervous, too! ⁠⁠

But I promise it’s actually a whole lot of fun. ⁠

Just think of it as a beautiful hour or two where you get to focus on your love and explore the wonders of Italy 🇮🇹⁠

We can dance in beautiful alleyways, stop for gelato, and if it helps, I have a small repertoire of truly awful jokes 😂 ⁠

It's never too early for newborn photos 😍⁠⁠

Lately, a few of you have asked me, 'but won't they look funny so soon?' The answer of course is absolutely not, but don't take my word for it - just look at sweet baby Grayson on his 2-week birthday! 🥰⁠⁠

Actually, I always recommend doing newborn photos in the first two weeks if you're up for it - this is when your little one will still be forever sleepy and want nothing but cuddles.⁠⁠
