"Where are you, my love", the Turkish episode of my long term project , a collection of stories from the LGBTQi communities around the planet, has been published on The Independent in UK! Thanks to the editors for the beautiful selections, and to the great people in Istanbul for opening their hearts and minds and trusting me. Fight on, guys, cause loving ain't a crime!

Homosexuality has been legal in Turkey since 1858, during the Ottoman empire, and many of the same laws have been used in the country since 1923, when the Republic was founded, with tr*******al people given the right to change their legal gender in 1988.

Happy to see that my project "We Only Have This Life, This Life Only", telling the stories of some LGBT youths in Beijing, has been selected as recipient of a Award of Excellence at the Portrait Series of the POYI (Pictures of the Year International). Kudos to all the other photographers whose work have been awarded, and thanks to the Beijing LGBT Center for the help!!!
