We’re delighted to announce that Marta Rovatti Studihrad has joined the Spacesuit executive leadership team as our new Director of People.
In this newly-created role, which started on 02 January 2025, Marta oversees all our creatives, including our Academy members and pathways, staffing on projects, and tracking and supporting professional development.
“I’m excited to step into my new role at Spacesuit Media,” says Marta.
“Having collaborated as a photographer with the team since 2014, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the company’s values and the unique challenges of working in this field. Spacesuit has always felt like home - full of talented, passionate individuals who bring incredible stories to life.
“My goal is to ensure that everyone working with us feels supported, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. I’m looking forward to this new chapter!”
Based in Milan, Italy, Marta is a very experienced photographer, working across sports, events and fashion.
She was Spacesuit’s third-ever hire, joining the team in 2014 in the early days of Formula E. She has also run several successful enterprises and understands how important it is to preserve a positive culture as a company grows.
Marta joins the existing Spacesuit executive leadership team that runs the business on a day-to-day basis, which includes Rosie Howard (Finance Director), Shiv Gohil (Artistic Director) and Ross Ringham (Founder and Managing Director).
“Spacesuit is growing – we have some 50 creatives on the books already and many, many more waiting for opportunities,” says Ross.
“In 2025, we’re official photographers for four major series, which are all complex projects requiring a lot of time in planning to get right. Marta will help ensure we retain capacity to listen and respond attentively to creatives even as we expand. The result is a business that works better for everyone.”
