È arrivato il momento di raccontarvi cosa si cela dietro le mie immagini.

L’estetica stessa delle mie fotografie rappresenta il messaggio, ovvero il cammino introspettivo dell’individuo alla ricerca del significato dell’autocoscienza e quindi della sua stessa esistenza.

A questo proposito, sono stato intervistato da C2A in seguito ai premi ricevuti per la competizione internazionale Creative Communication Award 2023: “Best of Best” e “Winner” nelle rispettive categorie “Landscape” e “Nature”.

Nell’intervista parlo apertamente e in maniera trasparente del mio progetto “Archetypes”, delle mie fonti di ispirazione e della mia perpetua ricerca della Verità.

From today on, this profile is taking a shift from mobile photography. I feel the need to change its aim. It’s going to become a photographic diary of my present, and sometimes, my past.

I was tired of everything I was using to take photographs. After wandering a long time in my own mind and a lot of (way too much) thinking, I got a Leica Monochrom. I was looking for new light for my eyes.

After a few days of receiving the camera, I decided to visit an old friend in Milan. While we spent some good time together and we bonded back on many traits we share as creative people, I’ve been able to challenge myself with something I’ve never used before - a black and white only rangefinder camera.

In a city that is the exact opposite of my home island, Capri, I spent just two nights (more like one day and a half) collecting my thoughts in good company and taking photos.

It’s been a very short trip, but it was enough to inspire me, to give to a friend. And to look beyond the dusk.

As an islander of Capri, for me, it’s an incredible honour being part of this exhibition with a photo series I’m very fond of. Those photos represent the deepest and most genuine dialogue that I have with the island, especially in the winter.

The vernissage was on the 27th of August, but it’s possible to visit the exhibition “Visione Mediterranea” at until the 30th of September. It’s been organised by , which I’m really grateful to, and , who is an amazing curator.
