Landmannalaugar, Iceland 🇮🇸

La valle di Landamannalaugar è un posto magico, si trova nelle terre alte islandesi ed è un insieme di montagne che sembrano dipinte ad olio, fumanti piscine termali, colate laviche e paesaggi primordiali che sembrano usciti da un film. Non è facile arrivarci, ci sono pochissimi servizi, sia lungo la strada, sia una volta arrivati sul posto. La strada è totalmente sterrata e bisogna guadare alcuni fiumi, non ci sono stazioni di rifornimento e il rifugio non ha riscaldamento, coperte ed elettricità. Come dicevo non è un'esperienza facile ma vi posso assicurare che una volta arrivati lì non vi importerà più di tutte le comodità che mancano. Almeno una volta nella vita andate a Landamannalaugar.

The Landamannalaugar valley is a magical place, it is located in the Icelandic highlands and is a set of mountains that seem painted in oil, steaming thermal pools, lava flows and primordial landscapes that seem to come out of a movie. It's not easy to get there, there are very few services, both along the road and once you get there. The road is totally unpaved and you have to ford some rivers, there are no gas stations and the refuge has no heating, blankets and electricity. As I said, it's not an easy experience but I can assure you that once you get there you won't care about all the comforts that are missing. At least once in your life go to Landamannalaugar.
