I’ve known Hbbb for a while and have spent quite a few years wondering about this one Americano. He is Sicilian in a way, has very many things in common with my kin: wit, a sense and a taste for revenge, sophisms,sarcasm, a penchant for the absurdity of life that sometimes precedes him. A love for food and real places: places with zero garnish so to say. This post is coming late, his pop up was yesterday, but we were busy catching up, trying restaurants like in the old days, and generically trying to stay away from bad vibes. We succeeded. Peter: come back when you feel like. Pete’s postcards are gonna be on view forever. Come see them and arraff’ one or two. All are welcome, good vibes only.

Con grande gioia accogliamo tra le nostre file , un’artista e una persona magnifica che lavora con integrità e dedizione alle sua visone. Vi prego di accorrere nella nostra sede di via crescenzo del monte 8 questo venerdì 29 Maggio alle 18:00 per dare un’occhiata alle sue opere, e goderne il silenzio e le eco lontane. Nel frattempo salutiamo anche in grande stile lo spazio che abbiamo abitato per un anno e mezzo restituendolo alla famiglia fiammeri e svuotandolo a poco a poco, elidendoci come in una tela di Elena. Qualcosa si è mosso. Gli obiettivi sono sempre stati gli stessi, la qualità, l’espressione di sé, senza mai perdere la gentilezza, l’eleganza. Ma i tentativi si sono fatti sempre più esatti, con meno approssimazione, con ancora più cura. Ogni volta di più. È questa la strada. Facciamone un altro pochino assieme. A couple of years ago, we traveled to Biella as we were hosted by this little jewel of a gallery for a bit. It was, as often happens with us, a crazy trip. Now we return the favor, so please come in mass to check on this great luneup of artists! and will be manning the floor, so that’s also a good excuse to come listen from them about the gallery scene up north. Saturday 28th, let’s all wave February goodbye, all are welcome, good vibes only.

This year we might be biting more than we can chew but I really was keen on seeing the work out there. Two new astonishing pieces by a big painting by , a new grid of pola by , a, literally, just cooked sculpture by and my aluminum proofs. Plus t-shirts and fanzines for the punk rockers. Thanks for aging us and to all the amazing people that keep rawmessina rad. Come see us on the ground floor at palazzo Isolani tomorrow evening thru Sunday. All are welcome good vibes only.

Come ogni anno, ci vediamo con il pandoro sullo stomaco ed il torrone sul molare, per passare una serata insieme, fare due chiacchiere, ascoltare un po’ di musica e biffare come se non ci fosse un domani su alcuni pezzi unici, edizioni, multipli, prove d’artista e chi più ne ha più ne metta. Ci saranno anche maglie nuove e fanzines e danze! E amari digestivi, credo! Ci sarà una riffa, con tre premiati e ricchi premi. Insomma what’s not to like. :) ci vediamo il 28. pLEASE RSVP obbligatorio.

I’m not partial to public roundups, in faux naïf style where we sound as our inherited fortune came down from the sky. Also because we never had any of that. rawmessina is atypical and inclusive for REAL, and we got the 104s diagnosis’ to prove it, and proud. But since this seems to be the game at play: we sold 21 pieces, have 17 new collectors, our artists are happy even without the prizes, and we too, never really fu**ed with that. So there you go, and wanna know more? Like Cristoforo Colombo, we sailed off thinking we would find something else on our route, we made mistakes, arrived somewhere else altogether, but lived a great adventure, and most importantly: we did it on borrowed money. 😘 see you around.
