Behind the scenes vs final results 🍫☕️

But this was actually a test shoot for an upcoming client project. Some people might ask, “Why bother?” Others may say it’s a waste of time, that it could all be done with AI.

But in all my years in this career, I’ve never considered a day in the studio a waste of time 🙌🏻 Every shoot teaches you something new. And once the final moodboard is approved, there’s no room left for experimentation - YOU HAVE TO DELIVER.

That’s why test shoots are so valuable. They give you the freedom to explore new ideas, refine your approach, and push creative boundaries without the pressure of time or expectations.

How did we approach the visual rebrand for Matcha Botanicals?

We started with a clear moodboard and a deep dive into what the brand actually wants to communicate.

Defined the core values: 💚purity & quality 💚ritual over routine 💚respect for origin 💚sustainability

Then we asked: does the current visual direction reflect that?

From there, we built a consistent visual language: slow, intentional, and detail-driven.

From props to lighting to how the product is handled, everything has a purpose.

Because a rebrand isn’t one shoot - it’s consistency over time.
