Hi, I’m Giulia!
The photographer behind Giulia Tagliabue Photography.

I photograph weddings, couples, engagements and elopements on Lake Como and wherever my camera takes me.

My style is a mix of documentary and cinematic: I love spontaneity and real emotions, but also the search for beautiful light, unique perspectives and those frames that can turn a real moment into something that feels like it belongs in a film.

I won’t ask you to fake a moment or create something that doesn’t feel like you. I’d rather follow your rhythm, listen and let things unfold naturally.
And yes, there will probably be some sarcastic jokes and plenty of laughter, because I want you to feel completely yourselves in front of my camera.

I’m drawn to weddings that are meaningful, elegant, spontaneous and full of life. The kind that don’t need to be perfect, just real.

Sono stata anche io dall'altra parte, quando ti assale l'ansia di inizare la ricerca dei fornitori per il tuo matrimonio e BOOM: l'ansia di non fare la scelta giusta o di prendere una cantonata ti assale.

Vorrei poterti dire che c'è un modo per vivere l'organizzazione del tuo matrimonio più serenamente, ma l'unica cosa che mi viene in mente è: scegli chi ti fa stare bene.

Io come fotografa di matrimoni, specializzata in tagli ed editing cinematografico, preferisco instaurare un rapporto confidenziale con le mie coppie di sposi, fin da subito.
Questo mi permette di entrare in empatia con loro fin dal primo istante, e mi permette di capire quali sono i loro dubbi e le loro aspettative rispetto alle foto del loro grande giorno.

Se vuoi vivere una giornata indimenticabile senza doverti preoccupare delle fotografie, sei nel posto giusto 💕

Some couples step in front of your camera… and then there are couples like Sam & Cassie.

They traveled all the way from Arkansas to Varenna, on the breathtaking Lake Como, with one clear vision in mind: to turn their wedding photos into something that felt like a movie scene.

And honestly, they became the perfect example of my ideal clients.

They booked in advance, trusted my vision completely, and allowed themselves to be guided through every moment naturally and effortlessly. No pressure, no overposing — just real connection, emotion, and presence.

They asked for a cinematic shoot.
In the framing.
In the movement.
In the atmosphere.
Even in the editing.

And yes, we made it happen. Even under the harsh 2 PM light.

Because when trust meets intention, magic doesn’t depend on perfect conditions.

It becomes timeless anyway ✨️🤍
