Sabato scorso, l’estate ha deciso di farci il regalo più bello, esplodendo in tutta la sua luce sull’Isola d’Elba.

È stata la cornice perfetta per il giorno speciale di Filippo e Georgie: una giornata vibrante, calda e carica di quell’energia che solo un inizio d’estate sa regalare.

Tra l’eleganza degli interni di Villa Ottone e la magia del tramonto in riva al mare, ho avuto l’onore di testimoniare, con il mio stile reportage, ogni attimo di questa unione autentica.

Momenti di pura felicità, sorrisi sinceri e la bellezza di un amore che brilla sotto il sole elbano.

Today, I’d like to share 4 things about me (and my approach to photography) that you probably don’t know:

• I’m a “soul of a sponge”: Don’t be surprised if you see my eyes well up during your vows. I feel your emotions so deeply that staying indifferent is simply impossible for me.

• I love intimacy: I adore weddings that seem to say, “let’s pull up a chair for you too.” Those settings where the warmth of feelings and being together are the heart of the celebration.

• I have a nostalgic soul: I find vintage style elegant and timeless. That is exactly how I imagine your memories: photos that will never go out of style.

• I don’t look for perfection, I look for truth: I’m not interested in “magazine-perfect” shots. I’m looking for your most authentic version—the one that truly speaks about who you are.

Una delle mie foto preferite di sempre.
Non so se è per la luce, per il fatto che con Ruth si era creato un rapporto speciale arrivando al matrimonio dopo tanti rimandi a causa delle restrizioni Covid o se come sempre i fiori di fanno splendere le mie foto.

Ci sono giorni in cui la luce sembra mettersi d’accordo con le emozioni. Il matrimonio di Maria e Sam a Villa Bernardini è stato esattamente così: un equilibrio perfetto tra l’eleganza aristocratica della tenuta e la verità di un sorriso improvviso.
Dalla solennità della cerimonia nel parco, circondati dal calore degli amici, fino alla magia della cena sotto i lampadari di cristallo, ogni momento è stato un invito a fermare il tempo.
Catturare la commozione sincera negli occhi degli invitati e la gioia radiosa degli sposi è ciò che rende il mio lavoro un privilegio. È nel contrasto tra le pietre antiche della villa e la freschezza di un amore nuovo che nasce la vera poesia. 🏛️🌷📸

There are days when the light seems to align perfectly with the emotions in the air. Maria and Sam’s wedding at Villa Bernardini was exactly that: a perfect balance between the estate’s aristocratic elegance and the raw beauty of an unexpected smile.
From the solemnity of the ceremony in the gardens, surrounded by the warmth of friends and family, to the magic of a dinner beneath crystal chandeliers, every moment was an invitation to make time stand still.
Capturing the sincere tears of the guests and the radiant joy of the newlyweds is what makes my work such a privilege. True poetry is found right there—in the contrast between the villa’s ancient stones and the freshness of a new love. 🏛️🌷📸

I ricordi sono senza tempo, ma il modo in cui li raccontiamo può evolversi.

Oggi ho voluto dare una nuova veste a questo splendido matrimonio del 2018. Rivedere questi scatti mi ha ricordato perché amo questo lavoro: catturare attimi che, anche a distanza di anni e con una nuova post-produzione, continuano a vibrare di vita.
