Itâs funny being engaged in the Wedding Industry. And by funny, I mean stressful - because weâve spent 4 years watching it all and we figured, for our turn, why not DO IT ALL?
SO DO IT ALL WE DID!
We split our wedding into three parts, three moments, three celebrations. An intimate legals only on the rooftop of our first home, a party with all our favourite people at our favourite place on earth and finally, a vow exchange in Italy, during our honeymoon.
Weâre greedy little piggies. We know. WE KNOW. But also, why not? Yolo, and all that jazz.
Back to itâŚ
We begged some of our best friends - favourite creatives - makers of masterpieces - to come with us across the globe and believe it or not, the Kings and Queens of this little olâ wedding world agreed.
We spent 3 glorious days in Praiano with , , , and .artistry_ soaking in the sun, feasting, boozing, giggling our guts up and in general, having the time of our absolute LIVES. Somewhere in the middle, we did the damn thing and DAMN - IT - WAS - GOOD.
Beyond our wildest dreams. Genuinely something out of a film. Purely because we have the most incredible friends EVER TO EXIST.
The day started with Surprise Number One: An angry ocean meant water taxis werenât operating and our ceremony spot was a washing machine. (Ah well.)
Surprise Number Two: and gifted us a RED HOT ALFA ROMEO to cruise around in for the day. WHAT THE SH****NG HELL!? We jumped in and sped off, all around the Amalfi Coast, screaming to Fred again, again and again and again. WHO NEEDS WATER TAXIS? PINCH US.
Surprise Number Three: As I sashayed back into our Hotel, high as a kite on an offensive amount of joy, I catch a glimpse of a HUGE bouquet of flowers. HUH? had designed a bouquet to match our Redleaf wedding florals and been in contact with an Italian florist, to source the stems and deliver the dream. MIND BLOWN.
