Oxena Waterfalls

A magical place in the middle of the Province of Catania, surrounded by wilderness. After a car trip that lasted around one hour from the Catania city centre, it＇s possible to leave the car and walk down towards the water. You＇ll find yourself in a small natural paradise where you can sit to have a picnic or just to relax a little bit. But if you decide to go further, after a little winding trail, it will be possible to admire these waterfalls in a truly scenic view.

Docklands reflections.

Dublin Docklands, an area that looks so different from the historical part of the city centre. A place with plenty of cafes and where it＇s just nice to go for a walk. This sunset was shot in a late April evening, when days are already longer and warmer. The reflections that I was able to catch perfectly combined with the colours of the sky and led to this beautiful result.

Dame Lane in Dublin.

Some weeks ago, wandering around Dublin City centre, I found myself passing by this iconic place which is Dame Lane. Colourful, but also mysterious, I tried to capture these emotions through my camera, with the lights that gave these shots a warm feeling on a cold evening.

The Cliffs of Moher

During one of my last trips around Ireland I had the opportunity to visit the stunning Cliffs of Moher. When I arrived there and saw the ocean in front of me, it was hard to realise that I was standing at a height of more than 100 metres.
Unfortunately I couldn’t stay until sunset for better light conditions, but I couldn’t leave without some shots even though it was during the peak of sunlight.

The Samuel Beckett Bridge

Walking on the Liffey riverside, it is possible to find this beautiful bridge. Designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava, in the form of a lying harp, symbol of Ireland.
At sunset, when the colours of the sky are filled up with different tonalities, this place becomes really beautiful and that has helped me for my photograph.

The Ha'Penny Bridge

Blue hour in Dublin, one of the best moments of the day to walk around and find some good spots to photograph. One of this places is the Ha'Penny Bridge, a landmark of Dublin. During this time of the day it lights up and the reflections in the river Liffey help to create the perfect composition.

Ponte Pietra at Sunset

🇮🇹Fotografia del Ponte Pietra, scattata durante il mio ultimo viaggio a Verona. Si tratta del ponte più antico di Verona e l'unico rimasto dell'epoca romana. Durante il primo giorno, ho visitato molti luoghi e camminato attraverso la città, ma questa vista è una di quelle che mi sono rimaste più impresse.

🇬🇧This is a photograph of Ponte Pietra, made during my trip to Verona. This is the oldest bridge in Verona, the only one remaining from Roman times. During the first day I visited many places and walked a lot through the city, but I think this view was one of those imprinted on my memory the most.

The Bronze Horseman

Coming from the St.Isaac Cathedral, going through the park, it is possible to have this view of the Bronze Horseman, the statue dedicated to tsar Peter the Great. I found this perspective very interesting and different from the the most famous, front view.

St.Isaac Cathedral

St. Isaac Cathedral is located in the city center, on St.Isaac Square. This is one of the most important landmarks of St.Petersburg. This photo was shot in spring and even if the weather was still a little bit cold, the sunsets were already wonderful as always in this city.

General Staff Arch

Coming from the central street Nevsky Prospekt it is possibile to arrive to the Palace Square through this arch. It is the General Staff Building arch, a part of this building belongs to the Hermitage Museum, the other one to the Western Military District. It was another lucky day for me, because the sky was wonderful and it helped me to make some good shots. I decided to try this composition for the first time and I think it worked out well.

Guardian of the Embankment

Another sunset from this beautiful city - St.Petersburg. That photo was taken on the Admiralty Embankment, where we can find two lions. These lions were positioned there as two guardians, to protect the city and they are the exact copy of the lions in Florence, in front of the Loggia della Signoria.

After many years, I finally had the opportunity to shot some sunsets in St.Petersburg. When spring and summer days arrive, this city becomes something different, warm lights illuminate the streets and the buildings and everything seems to quiet and romantic. Walking around St.Petersburg at this time of the day in my opinion, it's the better way to understand its true spirit.
