There’s a moment in every wedding where you see something that feels familiar — not because you’ve lived it, but because it speaks the same language of things you care about.
Up there in Spello, watching them hold each other with that mix of joy and fragility… it touched something quiet in me.

We think we go to weddings to witness stories.
But sometimes, without noticing, we end up recognizing pieces of ourselves.

In ogni matrimonio c’è un momento che ti risuona dentro.
Non perché l’hai vissuto anche tu, ma perché parla la stessa lingua delle cose a cui tieni.
Lassù a Spello, vederli stringersi con quel misto di gioia e fragilità… ha toccato qualcosa di silenzioso dentro di me.

Pensiamo di andare ai matrimoni per assistere alle storie degli altri.
Ma a volte, senza accorgercene, finiamo per riconoscere frammenti nostri.

Ci sono momenti che arrivano piano, senza rumore.
Tu sei lì dietro la macchina, e qualcosa nel loro modo di stringersi ti fa rallentare il respiro per un istante.
Non perché sia tutto perfetto… ma perché è onesto.

C’è un tipo di amore che non vuole stupire — ti arriva e basta.
Loro avevano quella presenza lì.
Semplice.
Vera.
Disarmante, nel modo più bello.

There’s a moment, right before everything begins, when the world seems to slow down.
Maria was walking down the ancient stone steps of Abbazia San Pietro in Valle, holding her dress with the same delicate cura con cui si tiene un’emozione grande.
Her father was waiting just a few steps below, ready to accompany her to Mark, who stood in the lawn of the abbey for their civil ceremony.

Nothing was staged.
Nothing needed to be.
Her pace, her smile, the calm in her eyes — it all felt beautifully real.
Sometimes the most meaningful moments are simply those you let happen, exactly così come sono.

C’è un momento, poco prima che tutto inizi, in cui il tempo sembra rallentare.
Maria scendeva le scale antiche dell’Abbazia San Pietro in Valle, trattenendo il vestito con quella stessa cura con cui si custodisce un’emozione intensa.
Suo padre la aspettava pochi gradini più in basso, pronto ad accompagnarla da Mark, che attendeva nel prato dell’abbazia per la loro cerimonia civile.

Niente pose, niente costruzioni.
Non serviva.
Il suo passo tranquillo, il sorriso lieve, la calma negli occhi — tutto parlava da sé.
A volte i momenti più significativi sono proprio quelli che lasci accadere, così come sono.

In chiesa si sono stretti con un’intensità che ha ridotto tutto al minimo.
Non un gesto formale, ma qualcosa di profondamente umano: il bisogno di fermarsi, respirare e sentirsi.

È stato un attimo capace di ridefinire la cerimonia.
Un’emozione che più tardi si è trasformata in una calma luminosa, ritrovata negli spazi raccolti di Colcaprile Charme in Assisi.

Nel verde, il ritmo cambia.
Simone ed Eleonora camminavano uno accanto all’altra con quella naturale armonia che non ha bisogno di essere diretta: passi lenti, sguardi che si incrociano senza pensarci, una complicità che si percepisce prima ancora di vederla.

Una pausa silenziosa che racconta più di mille parole.
Lo stesso respiro calmo che appartiene ai giardini di Colcaprile Charme in Assisi.

La preparazione non è mai solo trucco e capelli.
È il momento in cui la giornata inizia davvero a prendere ritmo.
Eleonora, ancora in vestaglia, aveva quella serenità che non si costruisce: parlava, rideva, si muoveva con un’energia naturale che ha dato il tono a tutto il resto.

Un inizio semplice, caldo, autentico.

Eleonora, un attimo prima di tutto.
C’è una leggerezza speciale quando una sposa si sente davvero al sicuro, libera di ridere così, senza filtri.

Stava salendo in macchina per la cerimonia a Bevagna e portava addosso quella felicità spontanea che non puoi dirigere né inventare: arriva quando ti senti a casa, anche in un momento così grande.

Dopo il “sì”, la giornata è continuata a Charme in Assisi, un posto che al tramonto diventa quasi un abbraccio.
È lì che abbiamo vissuto momenti ancora più intimi, quelli che non devi cercare… li riconosci e basta.

A volte la bellezza è proprio questo: lasciarsi andare e godersi ogni secondo per quello che è.

She was getting into the car for the ceremony in Bevagna, carrying that spontaneous happiness you can’t stage or direct. It simply appears when you feel at home, even in such a big moment.

After the “I do,” the day continued at Charme in Assisi, a place that feels like an embrace at sunset.
That’s where we experienced even more intimate moments—the kind you don’t need to search for… you just recognize them.

Sometimes beauty is exactly this: letting go and enjoying every second for what it is.

Ci sono momenti che non puoi dirigere.
Devi solo saperli riconoscere.

Questa foto nasce così: senza pose, senza indicazioni, senza interruzioni.
Solo una coppia che si lascia andare al proprio ritmo…
e io abbastanza presente da non distrarlo.

È questo il cuore del mio modo di fotografare:
creare uno spazio sicuro, leggero, dove le persone non devono “fare qualcosa”,
ma semplicemente essere sé stesse.

Quando succede, ogni risata, ogni passo, ogni sguardo
diventa una storia vera.
Un ricordo che resta.

Perché l’autenticità non si costruisce: si protegge.

🔥 YES, IT’S A POSED PHOTO. AND I DID IT ON PURPOSE!

Because to make you look natural,
I first need to know how to pose you perfectly.

This photo is everything my style is not —
and that’s exactly why it explains what my work is about.

Only someone who understands posing, light, and direction
knows when it’s time to let go of all that.

I know how to build a perfect scene.
But I prefer when it happens for real.

The difference?
In one case, the photo is beautiful.
In the other, it’s true.

📸 Real spontaneity isn’t about breaking the rules — it’s about knowing them so well you can move past them.

🔥 SI, È UNA FOTO IN POSA. E L’FO FATTA APPOSTA!

Perché per non farti posare… devo saper far posare alla perfezione.

Questa foto è tutto ciò che non rappresenta il mio stile, ma spiega perfettamente perché funziona quello che faccio.
Solo chi conosce la posa, la luce, la direzione dello sguardo — sa anche quando lasciar perdere tutto questo.

So come costruire una scena perfetta.
Ma preferisco lasciarla accadere davvero.

La differenza?
Nel primo caso la foto è bella.
Nel secondo, è vera.

📸 Per me la spontaneità non è mancanza di regole. È saperle superare.
