Chelsea Old Town Hall weddings, photographed on digital and film📷🎞️

This will always be one of my favourite places to photograph intimate London weddings. There is something about the pace of these days that I love so much. A ceremony with just your closest people, the feeling of London around you, and a few quiet moments together before the rest of the day unfolds.

We photographed this on digital, 35mm and medium format film and I love how each one holds the day slightly differently.✨

Digital for the movement and all the little in-between moments.
35mm for that imperfect, honest feeling.
Medium format for something a little slower, softer and more intentional.

Chelsea has such a beautiful energy for small weddings and elopements. Elegant, a little classic, but still relaxed and full of life.🥰

A collection of things we notice while photographing your weddings 🥹

Not just the flowers, the shoes or the table settings, but the way the day feels through the people in it.

The hands reaching for each other. The little glances across the room. The way your guests laugh together, hold onto you, fix your dress, wipe a tear, squeeze your shoulder without saying anything.

These are the details we care about just as much.

Because photographing a wedding is not only about capturing what was there. It is about noticing how everything and everyone connects. The small interactions, the atmosphere, the people who made the day feel like yours.

Sometimes these are the photographs that give you the clearest memory of the day. Not because they are perfect, but because they show what was really happening around you.

Drinks reception, but photographed with intention.

This is one of our favourite parts of a wedding day to document. The ceremony is done, the nerves have settled, and everyone finally gets to breathe a little.

It is when the day starts to feel loose and full of movement. Guests catching up, people hugging, glasses being passed around, little conversations happening everywhere. The kind of moments that might seem small at the time, but become such a big part of how the day is remembered.

Our approach is never to interrupt it.

We move through the space quietly, noticing the in-between. The laughter, the hands on shoulders, the reactions, the people you love all gathered in one place.

Of course, we will gently guide if something needs a little help, but most of the time this part of the day is best left to unfold on its own.

Because drinks reception is not just “the bit between ceremony and dinner”. It is where so much of the real story happens.

A little about our wedding photography approach🥹

For us, wedding photography is not about creating a perfect version of your day. It is about documenting the one that actually happened.

The quiet nerves before the ceremony.
The way your parents look at you when they think no one is watching.
The hugs right after “just married”.
The speeches that make everyone cry.
The movement, the chaos, the softness, the joy.

We gently direct when it is needed, especially during portraits, but never in a way that feels forced or awkward. Our aim is always to help you feel comfortable, not to turn your wedding into a photoshoot.

Most of the day, we are observing. Looking for the moments that already exist. The ones that feel like you.

We care about beautiful images, of course, but we care even more about honest ones. Photographs that hold feeling, not just aesthetics.

A little editorial. A little documentary. Always led by the emotion of the day.
