Innocenti Studio began with the idea that the most meaningful photographs are rarely about spectacle, but about people.

After many years working in photography and film in London, we eventually chose to build our life in the Italian countryside: a place whose rhythm, landscapes and sense of gathering are part of what draws many of our clients here to celebrate.

From this corner of Italy we travel to document weddings, proposals and family milestones, always with the same intention: to observe carefully, to remain discreet, and to allow the relationships at the centre of each day to remain the true focus of the story.

We are Emma and David, the two people behind Innocenti Studio.

Not every wedding is defined by grand settings or elaborate details.

Some are remembered for something deeper: the closeness of a family, the way people look after one another, the small gestures that reveal how deeply everyone is connected.

Days like this remind us that a wedding is rarely just a celebration between two people. It is also a gathering of the relationships that have shaped them; parents, siblings, children, and the particular dynamics that make every family unique.

Our role is to move gently within that space, observing without interruption and allowing those relationships to remain at the centre of the story that we are telling.

Film allows those moments to remain alive long after the wedding day has passed.

A question asked quietly in a garden, a ceremony surrounded by family, the small and unexpected ways a life begins to grow afterwards.

These are the moments people often feel compelled to preserve - not because they are perfect or spectacular - but because they mark a change in the story of their lives.

Over time those moments begin to form a quiet sequence: one chapter leading naturally to the next, each one worth remembering in its own way.

Photographing them simply allows that story to be held onto a little longer.

Our mission is to bring calm to that movement: guiding when necessary, stepping back when not, so the moment belongs entirely to them.

Some couples arrive in front of the camera already knowing how to be together.

The gestures come naturally: a hand adjusting a bow tie, a quiet kiss on the forehead, the easy confidence of simply standing side by side.

Our role is to remove the pressure of being photographed, so every moment can unfold naturally.
And when people feel relaxed and understood, the photographs follow effortlessly, and the connection shows in front of the camera

A proposal is a very small moment in time.

Often it lasts only a few seconds: a question asked quietly, a moment of surprise, and then the sudden realisation that something life changing has taken place.

What follows afterwards can feel almost unreal: laughter, disbelief, a few words exchanged that will later become part of the story the couple tells again and again.

That is one of the reasons video can be so valuable for moments like these. While photographs preserve the moment itself, film allows the atmosphere of it to remain: the movement, the expressions, the way the moment unfolded before either person had time to think.
