Stability in motion.

Off to Umbria to see and photograph Aman & Harkirat get married.

They rode on the train from Rome to our backyard (aka Tuscanycore) for their portrait session. They were in Rome from London and they rode up for photos 15 minutes from our house. So glad they did.

Watch us not post any stories from their beautiful wedding at all. Sorry, we make up for bad marketing with good jokes usually, though. Hope we see a cat somewhere along the way. If we do, we’ll probably remember to post something. Crossing all our fingers and toes for cat friends.

Small Doses — Spring 2026, a letter from Tuscany. All on film.

We started this back in 2012. We were younger, we felt better about being open, and the internet still had this quality: no immediate feedback. You posted something long and personal and it was out there — only to find out if anyone had read it days or weeks later. It felt like home. Honest and slow and a little bit fun. We made real friends through it.

We posted once a week, which was too much. We burned out. The thing went quiet.

But it never really left us — that pull toward writing and photographing something personal, that doesn’t have to perform, that can just sit there and be true. So we’re starting again. Slower this time. Aiming for four times a year. A few thoughts on Tuscany and Italy, the kind you only learn by actually living here.

Just a letter, when the season changes. In your inbox.

Link in bio if you want it.

,on film, in all its glory.

It feels like Villa Corsini at Mezzomonte came up in random conversations we had the last few days. Which is fitting, since we have been looking back on last year and just finished posting a new gallery from Jess & Michael destination wedding in Tuscany.

I don’t think many couples realize how many beautiful venues there are just outside Florence, with being high up on everyone’s bucket list.

It really (not figuratively speaking) made guests gasp for air from their jaws dropping as they entered the gallery dinner room. I would scroll over to see the photos that feature it.

Thank you J&M for trusting us with this.

All on film.

We dare you to not smile through at least some of Rachel & Jamie’s wedding at Casale de Pasquinelli.

Really, try it. If you don’t smile at least once, we’ll buy you coffee - but it’s also proof you’re soulless and bitter.

When we arrived, Jamie was standing in the parking lot. The first thing he said was “give me a hug”. These two will make anyone smile, we promise.

Photographed on a mix of digital+ 35mm & medium format film.

The light, at - with Ella & Tim

This light rips through us.
It’s not like this anywhere else, we swear. It’s something about the latitude longitude or the air. Maybe it’s the food? Or the people?
It just rips through us. And it always calls us when we’re feeling down.

Marilia had taken a break late into Taylor & Chris’ dinner during their wedding at Quercia al Poggio to get some food and I was standing on the balcony above the courtyard upstairs, just watching. We are there to watch, so please don’t think I was being creepy.

It’s hard describe the work that comes into planning a destination wedding. But it’s just as hard to put into words the joy everyone feels when they’re sitting outside during a candlelit dinner in the middle of a courtyard in Tuscany. Then you look over at the couple and they’re whispering in each other’s ears - and then they kiss (scroll all the way right).

Not one single glance we take as photographers on a wedding day is trivial. So we watch.

There isn’t anything trivial about the process couples make either. And it’s going to be hard to come all this way, and there will be people that won’t make it or someone that complains, there will probably be one or two things that go awry during planning and eventually I’m sure most couples question their decision for a split second along the process.

But watching Taylor & Chris get married, sitting outside on a warm Tuscan night, a couple kissing at their sweetheart table - all of this while sitting in an ancient courtyard, or outside by the cypress trees? Worth that little single second of doubt.

This is why we do this. Scroll all the way right to see these two kiss.

Thank you, Taylor & Chris. You two are the nicest.

A little class & a little sass and some film in between with Patricia & Ben at the breathtaking

These two chose this hidden town on the border of Slovenia & Italy in the VERY underrated region of Friuli Venezia Giulia to bring together friends and family from all corners of the world.

They fell in love with this winemaking region because of their natural wines, and made sure wine was a VERY important part of the experience for their guests.

Thank you, and Ben for everything. The smiles you two carry around with you are priceless.

Thank you so much, and for being incredible and going out for dinner with us the night before and putting up with us for a whole day again on the way of the wedding. You two are GOLDEN. Thank you for making their day shine even brighter.

February is here. This is a lesson from Frankie & Marília on not feeling guilty for taking your sweet time to start off the year.

Fun fact we learned this week and has actually been helpful in us not feeling guilty for being slow at things: January and February weren’t real months in Ancient Rome. There were only 10 months. The real months were March-December (this is whythey’re called SEPTember-OCTober and so on).

January, from the Roman Ianuarius, was the month of the god Janus. The god of beginnings and passages. It was a month of transition. This is when change starts inside.

February, from the Roman Februarius, was the month of the Februa. A festival for the purification or purging (in latin languages, the word “fever” comes from Februa - your body purifying a disease) of bad omens.

So don’t feel bad for taking your time. February is the time to start burning off whatever you have going on.

We’ve been feeling guilty too, but it feels like as soon as we turned the page on our calendar to February, we felt more ready to go. Here’s us digging up some old photos we never shared.

I mean, we DO LIVE IN ITALY, might as well start using this an excuse.

Proudly

🖤 Share with that with the slow person you know needs to see this (not us, ‘cause we’re actually the ones telling you this time).

Daniel & Robert got married on the most beautiful day, in a castle overlooking the Chianti hills. A quick 15-minute drive away from our house. In our favorite part of Tuscany.

With their closest of closest family and friends, these two celebrated love the way it is meant to be done: all killer, no filler. What a wedding! Congrats, you two. Absolute definition of a perfect wedding in our books.

A venue that is a 14th century villa and can only host very intimate events, this Castle is 15 minutes from our house. 35 minutes from Florence. 45 minutes to Siena. Not only are we the perfect photographers to photograph your wedding there, but it's the perfect venue if you're looking for something intimate right outside Florence.

It's so close that most guests stayed in Florence (but there are lots of rooms at the castle!). And the city itself became part of the wedding experience for everyone involved. Not only did guests get unique handpicked vintage postcards as take away gifts that were part of the decor, but we could hear guests with new friends making plans to meet up in the city for dinner or a hangout in the days after the wedding. Save this post, book it, book us. Feel free to DM us to ask questions, we'll gladly answer them.

And while pictures may say more than a thousand words, sometimes actual words need to be said loud and clear: Love is love. In a country where the current government continues to spread hate and fear, banning same-sex parenting by banning adoption and surrogacy, we will always stand for, fight for, and vote for love to continue to be celebrated between partners and families, regardless. We stand with you and you will always be safe here.

Enchanté, Venice. Barbara ( ) and Ugo (.dkp ) said au revoir to their beloved Paris for their own little Venetian Affair and invited their closest from all over the world along. Watching these two say si or oui or sim to each other was such a privilege.

Failed miserably at trying to tell this whole story in ten frames, so don’t hate us for breaking this out into specific posts later down the road. From their ooh la la reaction to seeing their dinner table to Italian hands 🤌 when they walked out of their water taxi to the private garden at , this one was special.

This is the wedding that broke our brains from trying to speak too many languages at once. Dear guests, we apologize for speaking the wrong language to you all throughout the whole day.

Grazie mille, Merci Beaucoup, Muito obrigado and a giant THANK YOU for letting us be part of such a special date, B&U. Tanti Auguri!

Considering your own Italian adventure? These two (and us) highly recommend it. Send us a message and we’ll make it look good.

And thanks for making our work look so good, for the boat rides, for delicious dinner, for putting up with our ok Italian and for being such a great vendor squad:
