To me the event is like a set, a vital playground filled with movement, emotion, rhythm where
magic and beauty happen and I am there to capture it. I shoot in a reportage style, focusing
on the narration of the wedding as a visual story through spontaneous images that capture
all the most significant and beautiful moments of your special day. It is my goal to capture photos of the atmosphere and l
ocation, and photos of the newlyweds and their friends and
family and guests having a good time. At the same time in my work I am always seeking out experiences that create inspiration, exploration, that give rise to the creative process in my photography and result in more iconic, evocative images, that invite the viewer into a series of suggestions. On occasion, a concept will come to mind in which I seek out the elements to photograph that will create a visual metaphor for a feeling or that tell a story. This creative process involves vision,
thinking out of the box, as well as some preparation, direction and cooperation with the people who are being photographed. In this
sense my approach becomes more cinematographic and the event provides the set where these scenes are staged.
