NOW SOLD FOLKS - Hi all. No having used it at all for 3 years, I'm moving out of studio work and thus selling my full studio setup. Before I throw it on Gumtree I thought I'd see if anyone one here wanted first dibs at a cheaper price. It cost me around $3500k to buy it all, but will take $500 for the lot, if any one is interested. Photos are below. From our Firenze trip, sunset over Ponte Vecchio from Ponte Santa Trinita a terrifc viewpoint. A long walk to get here but worth it. Famous for a) looking pretty amazing and b)for having shops still along it, butchers originally, now jewellers and art dealers. The sole bridge over the Arno not destroyed when the N***s bolted, allegedly on the express orders of Hi**er.

It is said that the economic concept of bankruptcy originated here: when a money-changer could not pay his debts, the table on which he sold his wares (the "banco") was physically broken ("rotto") by soldiers, and this practice was called "bancorotto" (broken table). Not having a table anymore, the merchant was not able to sell anything

Some of the amazing mosaics of the upper levels of the interior of the Basilica di San Marco. The entire inside is completely covered with mosaics covering an area of about 8000 m2. Created over 600 years, the great majority use the traditional background of 24 ct gold and glass tesserae, creating an amazing shimmering effect.

Ponte di Rialto built in 1591. Normally packed end to end and side to side with tourists, but not at 5am. This took a few images to get the light trails of the early morning delivery boats but my Feisol carbon fibre tripod held up beautifully

Dawn on the Canal Grande, with the Santa Maria della Salute on the right. The church was built after a wave of the plague assaulted Venice, and between 1630-1631 killed nearly a third of the population. In the city, 46,000 people died. As a votive offering for the city's deliverance from the pestilence, the Republic of Venice vowed to build and dedicate a church to Our Lady of Health . Great paintings inside by Titian.

Ponte dei Sospiri, aka Bridge of Sighs. The view from the Bridge of Sighs was the last view of Venice that convicts saw before their imprisonment.T he enclosed bridge is made of white limestone, has windows with stone bars, passes over the Rio di Palazzo, and connects the New Prison (Prigioni Nuove) to the interrogation rooms in the Doge's Palace. It was designed by Antonio Contino (whose uncle Antonio da Ponte had designed the Rialto Bridge which I also photographed) and was built in 1600.

From my recent photography trip to Italy, gondolas in front of the island of San Girorgio Maggiore. Venice is an amazing place, and everything that I expected, but so crowded. To get a clear shot involves getting up before dawn to beat the flood of cruise ships every day.
