A beautiful female cardinal that I found in the state of Georgia. I've always loved cardinals. The males have a distinct call that once you learn to recognize it, you'll always be able to tell when cardinals are near.

A Barred Owl. Owls are one of my favorite birds. They are so elusive so stoic. I would love to look for owls all day every day. In fact when I get my masters someday I've specifically looked at how I can get a degree that will let me learn more about Owls, their environments and how I can find them more often!

Check out this beautiful Osprey I found in the Swamps of South Florida. It's not often you get this beautiful background separation with perched birds since the background is usually really busy with tree branches and such.

The Grand Tetons as seen from the Snake River outlook. This spot (especially with the fall colors) gives an opportunity to see the Tetons with layers and layers leading up to it. Some of my favorite features are the river, the mountain plains, the forest, and of course the mountains!
