Being in the right place at the right time. That’s what it takes to capture moments like this in Nazaré. The chaos of the ocean, powerful currents, roaring waves, and jetskis racing across the water. It all comes together in a split second. Before jumping in, every camera setting has to be dialed. There’s no way to adjust it once you’re in the water. Choosing the right lens is crucial too. This shot was taken with a fisheye lens to pull the viewer right into the action. Water photography is all about preparation, instinct, and a little bit of luck.
