One minute, the weather was perfect. The next, the sky opened up in the middle of the wedding ceremony.

While the guests watched the rain fall, the wedding planning team at SDS Events LLC was behind the scenes gathering towels, finding umbrellas, directing guests, and doing everything possible to keep the day moving smoothly, while looking completely calm on the outside.

That is the part people do not always see.

Wedding professionals may be scrambling behind the scenes, but their job is to make sure the couple and guests still experience the beauty of the moment.

And somehow, what felt like chaos became part of an unforgettable story we will NEVER forget. 🌧️🌈

Today’s the day 🤍 We’re in Atlanta to celebrate these two. Feels like yesterday we were with them riding on a motorcycle making magic and now it’s finally time for the “I do.”

There’s something powerful about hearing a woman talk about building something from the ground up. 🤎

At the studio recently, I sat down with Kayla to talk about beauty, content creation, motherhood, and the journey behind her growing platform. One thing that stood out to me was her honesty about the process, learning, showing up consistently, figuring it out as she went, and still creating with passion.

We also talked about how beauty goes far beyond makeup. It’s confidence and creativity and most of expression. And you can feel that in everything she creates!

I’m so excited for what’s ahead for her and grateful we got to create together with her beautiful daughter in the studio. This is only the beginning. 🤍

We missed the ferry.
The timeline was running behind.
