Era una domenica di maggio.
Il cielo coperto, le nuvole pesanti come pensieri prima di un sì.
La luce cambiava ogni minuto, e con lei anche le emozioni.
Mani intrecciate, sorrisi a occhi chiusi.
Le onde accarezzavano la sabbia come se sapessero di dover fare piano.
E loro, lì in mezzo, in un tempo sospeso.
Un prewedding è questo:
non uno scatto perfetto, ma un’emozione che resta.

It was a Sunday in May.
The sky was overcast, the clouds heavy like thoughts before a promise.
The light shifted by the minute—just like the emotions.
Hands intertwined, smiles with eyes closed.
Waves gently brushed the shore, as if they knew to move quietly.
And the two of them, right there, in suspended time.
