Camogli might be Liguria’s prettiest seaside surprise 🇮🇹🌊📸

This colorful fishing town on the Italian Riviera completely reshaped my Liguria itinerary. I came for the famous waterfront view and ended up staying for a week.

Camogli has that classic Ligurian scenery: tall pastel houses stacked above the sea, painted shutters that are not always real, a dark pebble beach, fishing boats in the harbor, and the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta sitting right above the water.

But there’s more to do than just take photos.

You can swim at Camogli Beach, look for the tiny painted details on the facades, hike through Portofino Natural Park, take a boat to San Fruttuoso, try focaccia di Recco, stay for aperitivo with a sea view, and watch the town glow at blue hour.

If you’re looking for a less obvious Italian Riviera base between Genoa, Portofino, and Cinque Terre, Camogli is such a good one.

Madeira is made for a road trip 🌿🏔️🚗
💬 Comment ‘guide’ 👇 I’ll send you my 7-day Madeira itinerary with the route, map, hikes, viewpoints, where to stay + practical driving tips 🗺️✨💌

I spent one month driving around Madeira, and this 7-day itinerary pulls together the places I’d prioritise if you only have one week on the island.

Expect coastal hikes, levada walks, volcanic rock pools, black sand beaches, misty forests, dramatic viewpoints, Funchal, and a few early mornings that are absolutely worth it.

The route includes:
PR8 Ponta de São Lourenço
Vereda do Larano
Seixal and the north coast
Fanal Forest
Porto Moniz natural pools
Funchal
South coast villages and banana trails

You can see a lot in 7 days, but Madeira is much easier with a car. The island may look small on a map, but the best places are scattered between cliffs, tunnels, mountain roads, and viewpoints you’ll want to stop at every 10 minutes.

Meteora is one of the most unreal places to photograph in Greece 🇬🇷⛰️📸
💬 Comment ‘meteora’ 👇 I’ll send you my guide with the best viewpoints, exact photo locations, map + tips for sunrise and sunset 🗺️✨💌

📸

Those giant rock pillars with centuries-old monasteries sitting on top look impressive from almost every angle, but knowing where to go makes a big difference.

Some of the best Meteora views are right by the road, while others need a short walk, a little scrambling, or a very early alarm.

Sunset Rock is the classic spot.
Main Observation Deck is better for sunrise.
Roussanou Monastery is one of the most photogenic.
Holy Trinity looks incredible with morning light.
And having a car makes it much easier to move between viewpoints during that short golden hour.

Summer evenings in Vilnius are the proof this city deserves more attention ✨

The late light catches the church towers, spills across the pastel facades of the Old Town, and turns the narrow streets a soft shade of gold. Terraces fill up, people wander without rushing, music drifts from courtyards, and the whole city feels warmer, lighter, and more alive.

Vilnius is not the loudest European capital, and that is why its so lovely. It has a beautiful UNESCO-listed Old Town, leafy hills with skyline views, quiet side streets, good coffee, cool bars, and enough history to keep you looking up, around, and behind every corner.

But in summer, especially in the evenings, it becomes even better 🌿

Come for the old town, the views, the food, the culture. Stay for those long golden hours when Vilnius feels easy, romantic, and still a little undiscovered.

Naples in one day is intense, delicious, and a little bit chaotic 🇮🇹🍕📸

Naples is not the kind of city you casually “tick off” in a day, but you can still experience a lot if you plan it well.

Think espresso in Spaccanapoli, the Veiled Christ, Santa Chiara, pizza at one of the city’s famous pizzerias, Via dei Tribunali, Naples Underground, the Spanish Quarters, Maradona murals, and sunset views from Castel Sant’Elmo.

It’s a busy day, yes.
But if you start early, wear comfy shoes, and accept the beautiful chaos, Naples will give you one unforgettable first taste.

This ancient laurel forest sits high on the Paul da Serra plateau and feels completely different from the rest of Madeira: twisted moss-covered trees, rolling fog, muddy paths, curious cows, and that famous Witch Tree you’ve probably seen all over Instagram.

But here’s what I’d want to know before going:

Fog is common, but never guaranteed.
Mornings and late afternoons are usually your best chance.
The weather can turn wild very fast.
You’ll need a car or a tour to get there.
And these days, Fanal is more regulated, so go with managed expectations and respect the marked paths.

Still worth visiting? Absolutely.
