Orange Cup Bird Feeders 🍊🐦
Turn leftover orange halves into bright, eco-friendly feeders that birds will love.

Materials:
Orange halves, hollowed out.
String or twine.
Birdseed.
Peanut butter or a gelatin mix.

Steps:

Cut an orange in half and scoop out the inside, leaving the peel intact as a little cup.
Poke holes near the top or sides and thread in string or twine so you can hang it.

Fill the orange cup with birdseed, or mix the seed with peanut butter or another binder so it holds together better.
Hang it outdoors on a branch and watch the birds enjoy their snack.

Tip:
If you want a sturdier feeder, some versions add peanut butter with the seed, while others use extra supports like skewers or a string “X” for hanging.

1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon borax
2 tablespoons warm water
Food coloring (multiple colors for marble effect)
Mixing bowls
Wooden stick or spoon
Instructions:

1. Make the borax solution
In a small cup, mix:

1/2 teaspoon borax
2 tablespoons warm water

Stir until dissolved and set aside.

2. Create the base
In a bowl, mix:

1 tablespoon glue
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Stir until thick and smooth.

3. Add color
Add a few drops of different food colorings (don’t overmix if you want a marbled look).

4. Activate the mixture
Slowly add a small amount of the borax solution while stirring.
The mixture will start to firm up into a rubbery texture.

5. Knead and shape
Once it’s no longer too sticky:

Take it out
Knead with your hands
Roll into a ball

6. Let it set
Leave it for a few minutes to firm up more.

7. Bounce and play
Your ball is ready! It should be slightly bouncy and flexible.

Something beneath Antarctica is sending signals through miles of ice. And the unsettling part is not that we hear them, but that we should not.

But the real detail is where those signals are coming from.

Instruments buried in and above the Antarctic ice, built to detect rare cosmic particles, have picked up radio pulses rising upward from below the surface.

That direction breaks expectations. Known high energy particles should arrive from space, not travel through the entire Earth and emerge from beneath the ice.

The ice itself is part of the experiment. It is cold, dense, and nearly free of radio noise, making it one of the quietest natural detectors on the planet.

Yet these signals cut through that silence with unusual strength and shape.

They do not match known neutrino behavior. They do not align with standard cosmic sources.

Some scientists point to unknown particle interactions. Others suspect subtle instrument effects that have not yet been isolated.

But no single explanation fully holds.

In the most silent place on Earth, something is speaking in a language we have not learned yet.

And the deeper we listen, the stranger the silence becomes.
