When Travis and Alessa chose an ancient limonaia on Lake Garda with just 15 guests, we didn’t just film a wedding, we shot an Italian indie movie.

With no rush and all the time in the world, we leaned into the theatrical vibes, played with the light, captured a lot of lemons flying across the frame, and made it look spectacular. 🕶️✨

But here is the plot twist: despite the Hollywood frames, they aren’t actors. They were just playing the biggest roles of their lives: being themselves, completely in love, and enjoying every single second. 🎭❤️

Raining today, wedding shoot in a few hours, one of those days where you end up scrolling back through last summer's files. Chiara and Lorenzo at Villa Artimino, a Medici villa on the Tuscan hills, a seriously elegant outdoor dinner under the sky, and a wild party that found its own rhythm. I've rarely felt energy like that, and going back to that day today is helping me get into the right mood :-)

Oggi piove, tra poco abbiamo un matrimonio,una di quelle giornate in cui finisci a riguardare le foto dell'estate passata. Chiara e Lorenzo a Villa Artimino , villa medicea sulle colline toscane, cena elegantissima all'aperto sotto il cielo, e una festa scatenata che ha trovato da sola il suo ritmo. Raramente ho sentito un'energia così pazzesca, e oggi tornare a quella giornata mi aiuta a entrare nel mood giusto :-).

Golden hour at Villa Pesenti Agliardi ✨ E + G's wedding was a rare blend of elegance and pure fun — a wild celebration that kicked off right at dinner, when the bride and her sister grabbed the mic and sang for the groom and all the guests. The magnificent park and villa made the perfect backdrop, and we even had the honor of being shown some of the private rooms by the host himself.

Golden hour a Villa Pesenti Agliardi ✨ Il matrimonio di E + G è stato un raro mix di eleganza e puro divertimento, una festa sfrenata iniziata già a cena, con la sposa e sua sorella che hanno preso il microfono per cantare allo sposo durante la cena. Il parco meraviglioso e la villa hanno fatto da cornice perfetta, e abbiamo avuto anche l'onore di visitare alcune stanze private grazie alla gentilezza del padrone di casa.

There's always a little parallel world going on at weddings, usually made of kids. A fan, a flower crown, someone whispering something important to someone else, while the adults are off doing adult things. I love these in-between moments, the ones nobody is really paying attention to. Black and white just works here I think, thanks also to the balnace in the composition, keeps things simple. Kids are among my favorite subjects to shoot at weddings, they don't care that you're there and that's exactly the point.

Ai matrimoni c'è sempre un piccolo mondo parallelo che va avanti per conto suo, di solito fatto di bambini. Un ventaglio, una coroncina di fiori, qualcuno che sussurra qualcosa di importante a qualcun altro, mentre gli adulti fanno cose da adulti. Sono questi i momenti che mi piace cercare, quelli a cui nessuno sta davvero facendo caso. Il bianco e nero secondo me qui ci sta, tiene tutto più essenziale, grazie anche all'equlibrio nella composizione. I bambini sono tra i miei soggetti preferiti nei matrimoni, non gli interessa che tu sia lì e in fondo è proprio quello il punto.

Camilla & Tommaso at Palazzo Monti della Corte: elegance with pure energy. A beautiful Franciacorta setting and a dance floor that never really stopped. Then a few unexpected moments: the drone getting stuck in the centuries-old cedar of Lebanon (spoiler: rescued thanks to the wonderful staff at Palazzo Monti della Corte 🙏), Camilla changing into a vintage gown just before the cake, and finally the groom stepping in as MC. Yes, Tommaso took the mic and carried the party in his own style. 🔥🔥

Every time an international couple chooses Lake Garda, it helps me see this place through different eyes.
I was born here, yet their perspective allows me to rediscover its almost unreal beauty.
M & J embraced light, Mediterranean colours, live opera during dinner and Italian cuisine at its finest.
The day was carefully shaped by Ginny, translating their vision into an elegant and natural celebration.
And then Isola del Garda: a Venetian Neo-Gothic palace built on an island, in the middle of a lake.
How many places in the world can offer something like this?

Ogni volta che una coppia straniera sceglie il Lago di Garda, per me è un modo per guardarlo con occhi diversi.
Sono nato qui, ma attraverso il loro sguardo riesco a coglierne la bellezza quasi irreale.
M & J hanno scelto luce, colori mediterranei, la grande opera italiana cantata durante la cena e grande cucina italiana.
La giornata, coordinata da Ginny, ha dato forma a un'esperienza indimenticabile.
E poi l’Isola del Garda: un palazzo neogotico veneziano costruito su un’isola, nel mezzo di un lago.
In quanti luoghi al mondo esiste qualcosa di simile?
