A landscape built by fire, ice and time.

Volcanoes, crater lakes, glaciers, steaming ground and wildflowers, all existing side by side in one of the wildest landscapes I’ve ever photographed.

📍 Kamchatka, Far East Russia, July 2019

There’s something magical about autumn. For a brief moment, landscapes transform into a beautiful palette of gold, orange, and red.

From Mount Fuji framed by maples leaves to the dramatic peaks of Patagonia to the golden forests of the Alps, every corner of the world tells a different story.

For me, autumn is not just about colors. It’s about atmosphere, fleeting light, and those extraordinary moments when nature feels like a painting.

Which of these places would you love to photograph in autumn? 🍁

Southern Algeria is one of the most fascinating places I’ve photographed.

Endless dunes, sculpted rock formations, incredible textures and landscapes that change completely with the light.

It’s a place where every few kilometers feels visually different, and where the desert becomes an endless source of compositions.

We will return there for our next photography tour, with only a few spots still available.

Full details and booking are now available on my website. Link in bio 🔗

Beautiful solitude 🌄

There is a special kind of happiness in feeling small in front of something immense.

I love photographing people almost disappearing into the landscape, surrounded by silence, scale and the beauty of nature.

📍 Argentina, Mangystau, the Dolomites and the French Alps. Different places, same feeling.

Flowers and landscapes I’ve photographed around the world 🌸

Edelweiss, houseleeks, water hyacinths, alpine violets, rhododendrons, lupins and daisies.

One of my favorite ways to photograph a landscape is to connect something tiny in the foreground with something immense in the distance.

📍New Zealand, Greenland, Kamchatka, Italian Alps, Madagascar, French Alps

Mangystau has become a very special place for me.

I first visited this region two years ago, fascinated by its extraordinary landscapes and the feeling of exploring a place that still felt so wild and unexpected.

Just some weeks ago, my series Planet Mangystau has won 1st Place in the Nature / Landscape category at the , and now Alex Wides | landscape photography and I are here guiding our photography tour through the same landscapes that inspired the series.

Seeing this project receive such recognition, while at the same time sharing these places with our group, has been incredibly rewarding.

Some places stay with you. Mangystau is definitely one of them.

Photos I took in Algeria 🇩🇿

Hidden canyons, surreal rock formations, natural arches, endless dunes and some of the darkest skies I’ve ever photographed.

From 13–20 March 2027, me and Alex Wides | landscape photography will be leading a group into the Sahara around Djanet for one week entirely dedicated to landscape photography. 3 spots left 📸

Why I love bad weather

Some of my favorite conditions to photograph are the ones most people would rather avoid.

Storms, fog, wind and dramatic skies can completely transform a landscape, revealing something that simply doesn’t exist on a clear day.
