see where I was a few days ago

never been to a more remote and impressive place.

although it's on mainland, there is no road leading there, you can only get there by 12-seat airplane. the jungle behind it is a no-go zone for strangers, because the natives living there allow no visitors. once a whole family came to the village to share one bottle of coca cola among them.

there are a few soldiers there, youths with machine guns, who are friends with the local people. their assignment must seem surreal to them - you can see them marching down the beach with their dog, enjoying the sunset.

out of respect, I did not really take photos of people who didn't like a camera pointed at them.

I am back in vienna and gladly giving photography lessons here - implementing the knowledge I gathered in Portugal!

My specialty is using available light, understanding its texture and properties and using it to create stunning portrait and landscape images. I have been a professional image post processor for more than eleven years, using Photoshop and Lightroom and have been teaching photographers for more than five years now.
